The Babolat Pure Drive 98 Tennis Racquet picks up right where the Pure Drive VS left off. It features a mirror cosmetic just like the rest of the Pure Drive models. The Pure Drive 98 is catered a bit more towards control than the standard Pure Drive. It is slightly heavier at 10.8 ounces unstrung, and the 98 head size is smaller than the Pure Drive`s 100. Though the flex is on the firmer side, Babolat has added SWX Pure Feel, powered by an extended wrapping of SMAC inside the frames shaft to improve comfort. Babolat`s HTR system gives the racquet a new lay up composition to help convert fast swings into explosive shots. FSI Power technology is back again with enhanced diamond shaped grommets for increased power and a larger sweet spot. The Pure Drive 98 is a racquet to compliment advanced players with an all court style. The frame is perfect for someone who loves the feel of the Pure Drive 100, but wants a little more feel and precision.
